EAS at EDEX 2025: Uzbek technologies at Africa's largest defense exhibition

From December 1 to 4, the Electronic Autonomous Solutions (EAS) team visited the fourth EDEX 2025 international defense exhibition in Cairo — the only event of this scale covering the regions of Africa and the Middle East.

The exhibition brought together more than 450 companies from 80 countries and 40,000 industry professionals. For EAS, this became an important platform for establishing business contacts with partners from regions that are actively developing their own defense industries.

The main objectives of the visit included expanding the geographic reach of anti-drone systems sales in Africa and the Middle East, establishing direct contacts with potential customers, studying best practices for exhibition presence, and assessing the competitive environment in the anti-drone systems segment.

Over four days, EAS specialists conducted competitive assessments of leading industry companies from nine countries, including Brazil, Bulgaria, China, Turkey, Germany, Egypt, and South Africa, and discussed partnership prospects in the markets of Africa, the Middle East, and Central Asia.

Participation in EDEX 2025 enabled us to conduct competitive analysis and establish contacts with potential partners. African and Middle Eastern markets are demonstrating growing interest in anti-drone systems, which opens prospects for future EAS product exports.

The established contacts will serve as a foundation for further development of our international initiatives.
